Who Are We?
Welcome to the world of Rent For Your Event, founded by Jenna & Adam Smith.
Jenna is the organised end of the business; she will take care of you from the point of your enquiry to the return of your security deposit. Over the years, the business has really brought out a creative side in her and therefore she is always happy to discuss colour themes and room layouts to make the most out of your event space.
Adam focusses on the operational and logistical side of the business and ensures that our stock is in perfect condition for every job. He arranges the delivery and collection of items and liaises with any venues that might be involved.
We have both worked in the service industry for most of our careers and therefore customer service is at the forefront of everything that we do. We love working with our customers and we are always blown away by the feedback that we receive. Please feel free to read through our reviews on Facebook or Google.
What do we do?
Rent For Your Event is a ‘prop hire’ business. What does this mean?
Essentially, it means that we provide ‘props for hire’ rather than a full styling service. All of our props and décor items can be hired without the need for a venue stylist meaning you can save money by putting together your own vision. We do also work alongside some great venue stylists to add that final touch to their beautiful event designs, such as an addition of one of our Arches or Flower Walls.
All of our props are perfect for any type of event, and our Party Packages are a great way to hire a number of items and save money! Our prices do include set up, so we’ll do all the hard work making your event space look fabulous, and take everything away afterwards.
When did we start?
Since our launch 2018, we have been working tirelessly to make Midlands based weddings & events beautiful! We started off small and gradually grew by re-investing back into the business.
This year we were honoured to be named Regional finalists for 2022 Wedding Industry Awards for the East Midlands in the Special Touch category. After the stop start world of 2020/21 this was an amazing achievement and extremely humbling to hear such positive feedback from our customers (who’s feedback meant we were shortlisted!)
Where do we cover?
Based in Derby, Derbyshire, we can cover most of the Midlands based venues and occasionally on request a little further afield. Feel free to use our Contact Us page to discuss a specific event outside of our usual coverage area.
Why do we get out of bed in the morning?
Our vision from the start, was to create a luxury brand, with unique products, which would transform any room into something special. Founded out of a love for all things floral, we’ve have become real experts in luxury Flower Wall, Arches and event decor. It’s always been our passion to keep up to date with the changing trends and ensuring we have a huge range of options for our customers. We pride ourselves on sourcing and acquiring only the highest quality items, and even though we’re not the cheapest supplier out there we can assure you we’re one of the best!
