Shottle Hall - Open Day
In early April we were kindly asked by the lovely team at Shottle Hall to help style their Open Day. We were given their beautiful Orangery to set up for a day full of budding and current brides, and it was lovely to spend a few hours talking all things weddings in such a gorgeous setting! Luckily we were joined by the amazingly talented Matt from Field Photography who kindly photographed the set up.
Given the bright and beautiful room (and day, thank you spring sunshine!) we opted for a white & sage palette which worked fantastically against the countryside backdrop. Our Angelic Moongate with our ‘Just Married‘ neon framed the top table, along with our clear glass beaded charger plates, glass candle holders, sage green linen table runner, sage green ‘leaf’ napkins, frosted ‘Top Table’ sign and finished off with our Eden table arrangement.
For chair drapes, we opted for Grecian style using our ivory chiffon, finished off with a piece of faux leaf embellishment.
On the guest tables, we used a similar palette to the top table on one and then switched up the glass for gold on the second! Using our gold candlesticks and gold rimmed glass charger plates, and perspex block table numbers it created a slightly different yet beautiful table setting. On both tables, our Eden floral centrepieces sat on top of our glass trumpet vases – and for anyone worried about high rise centrepieces blocking the view you need not fear! All our high-rise stands are chosen specifically as they are either thin or incredibly see-through! Yes, you’ll still be able to see everyone during speeches and also have beautiful floral domes above your heads!
Let’s not forget the beautiful place names provided by Newport & Sage! Meg is a local lady based in Mickleover and super creative when it comes to stationery. Go check her out!
